August, 2010
A stellar cast and crew were assembled to complete the short film, "Otherness." The film was created for "The Human Condition," a special contest being hosted by the Chicago International Film Festival. The contest seeks 60 second films that explore the Human condition.
Otherness is a story that explores the ways in which we as humans experience difference. It is human nature, when something is different, to either fear it, worship it, or try to destroy it. We have seen this play out in popular figures ranging from President Obama to Jesus and many others in between. In this way, Otherness directly targets a pervasive aspect of the human condition.
